Eu estava pensando agora.. eu assisto bastante filmes.. e eu sei que perdi alguns clássicos do cinema.. então eu fui procurar uma lista de todos os filmes que já ganharam um oscar de melhor filme do ano e irei assistir todos (vou marcar os que eu já assisti):

Os que estão em negritos são os que faltam eu assistir ainda... alguem recomendaria algum deles?

Os da década de 20,30 e 40 devem ser meio dificeis de achar tambem
Eu sei que existem outros clássicos.. e que nem sempre a academia escolhe o melhor do ano.. mas acho que seria uma boa meta

Eu estou finalizando esse mesmo objetivo.

Se estiver com dificuldade de achar alguns vencedores (principalmente da década de 30), procura em algum link aleatório nesse meu post.

Ih, mentira. Acabei de ver que você ainda não assistiu "Entre Dois Amores" e "O Maior Espetáculo da Terra". Ambos pau a pau com "Gigi", como as piores bostas a já levarem um careca dourado.
Pelo menos você ainda vai ter o prazer de assistir "A Malvada" pela primeira vez.

Eu começaria por Gentleman's Agreement do Elia Kazan (mesmo diretor de On the Waterfront), é muito bom apesar de "East of Eden" e o próprio Waterfront serem muito melhores.

ps. sempre achei que "To Kill a Mockingbird" (O Sol é para todos) tinha vencido melhor filme, mas foi melhor roteiro. Alias a lista vencedores de melhor roteiro seria uma boa pedida para fazer fila de filmes.

Mto desses filmes, incluindo Um Estranho no Ninho, Patton ou A Ponte do Rio Kwai eu já tinha assistido mas nem imaginava que tinha ganhado oscar de melhor filme.

Acabei de assistir a Grande Ilusão e por fim nessa lista dos 82 vencedores (83, já contando um dos dez possíveis vencedores de 2011). Muitos filmes ruins, muitos filmes interessantes, não tantos filmes que mereciam ser aclamados como "melhores do ano". Mas não é preciso assistir nenhum deles para já sacar isso - a política impera na premiação.
